I've been working on this news indicator and it's now developed enough to share.
I've also added a beta version of my breaking news indicator for you to play with.

1. Data from the ForexFactory weekly calendar is refreshed hourly to catch any mid-week calendar updates from FF.
2. Events can be filtered by impact, currency and category.
3. A table of current and upcoming events can be displayed in a choice of two widths and may be placed anywhere on the chart.
4. Vertical lines may be plotted on the chart to mark past events. Mouse over the lines to see details.
5. Audible alarms can be configured to use any WAV files in your MT4/sounds directory.

DeleteCacheAtStart.........Deletes the saved calendar and forces a refresh at startup. Set to False for normal operation.


Please note that the indicators are FREE, and are therefore supplied on an 'as is, take-it-or-leave-it, use-at-your-own-risk' basis.

Known issue: Opening the object properties dialog for any of the indicator's objects can cause MT4 to crash. Workaround: Don't do it!

Forex News Calendar Indicator for MT4

Never miss out on the fundamentals again!

NewsCalendar is a Metatrader 4 indicator that allows you to see all the news that matter in Forex are to be released directly on your MT4 charts. The news are automatically downloaded from reputable online places such as ForexFactory or DailyFX and then filtered based on your needs and preferences.

Every time you drag the NewsCalendar indicator on a MT4 chart, you can choose whether you want to see all the news, or just the ones related to the current pair on the chart. If for instance you drag it on a GBPUSD chart, and set "Only For Current Pair" as true, you will only get news that have an impact on the GB Pound or on the US Dollar. However, if you also want to include a couple of other currencies (but not all of them), you can add them to the "Always Include Currencies" field. Hence, you could be getting the news related to GBP, USD, EUR and JPY only.

Welcome to "EURUSD Only"

Every trader loves to post his/her ideas and interact with other traders during exciting, frustrating and most of the times boring trading hours. I believe that the overall subconscious goal is to feel surrounded by living, breathing, real people.. friends.. like-minded personalities who knowingly or unknowingly help each other not to feel isolated from daily life. Otherwise we would just sit in front of a screen for hours and have conversations with our inner voices, right? That sounds very pathetic to me to be honest.

But luckily we have many places on internet where we can share and collaborate such ideas and this thread has been created to become one of them, but with one big difference: "GOOD WILL", "PEACE", "KINDNESS", "COLLABORATION", "SHARING & CARING", "FAMILY", "SUPPORTING", "RESPECT" are the major characteristics what is supposed to define this thread.

That being said, here are the 2 simple rules we want you to follow. Nothing more!

1. Members must post ideas and charts only and solely for the EUR/USD currency! (DXY-USD Index or EXY-EURO Index charts and ideas are also allowed!)
2. Hatred, fights, and non-trading related debates between members are definitely forbidden! (Trolling and toxic behaviour will not be tolerated!)

Looking from the bright side, besides trading related topics, all members are free to:

1. Share jokes and silly ideas, photos, YouTube links, etc, which they think would break the ice and put a smile on everyone's face.
2. Share constructive criticism about other members' posts.
3. Talk about their private life, may it happiness or difficulties, that they think would allow to create bonds between members.
4. Get angry and curse or even offend other members if they are having a bad trading day (but they have to put out that they are having a bad day and we expect them to apologize asap once they cool down). All members will tolerate such behaviour for the sake of creating a family here.
5. Share ideas in different languages here and there as long as the content follows the 2 simple rules mentioned earlier.
6. Teach newbies and share educational information.
7. Post like a signal service but they must include the entry price for their market/pending order and their initial stop loss.
   1. Example 1: Entered LONG at 1.1850, Initial SL: 1.1820
   2. Example 2: I've just put a Buy Limit pending order at 1.0890, my initial SL is 1.0850
   
   
8. Post about fundamentals and politics as long as it is related with or affects the EUR/USD currency.
9. Post ideas around EURUSD from other sources, as long as you mention the source or provide the link to it.
10. .... new free rules might be added here later depending on member requests...

I will personally put my best effort to keep this place together. Members who can't even follow 2 simple rules despite a few warnings will be banned forever.
